BrightGuard™ Maintenance Plans

MAINTENANCE
CONTRACTS

Compliance. Peace of mind. Expert monitoring. Your septic system needs regular attention — we make it effortless.

Why Have a Maintenance Agreement?

A septic system maintenance contract isn't just paperwork — it's your partner in protecting one of your property's most critical systems.

Aerobic septic systems require regular monitoring and maintenance to operate safely and efficiently. Texas regulations mandate that licensed maintenance providers inspect and service these systems on a routine schedule. Without active oversight, small issues can escalate into costly repairs, compliance violations, or even health hazards.

A maintenance agreement ensures your system stays on track — inspections happen when they're due, records are kept current, and any developing problems are caught early before they become emergencies.

What a Maintenance Agreement Delivers

Compliance and Peace of Mind

Stay compliant with TCEQ regulations. We handle all required inspections, testing, and reporting so you never miss a deadline or face a penalty.

Expert Monitoring for Preventative Care

Our technicians spot warning signs before they become disasters. Regular monitoring catches failing components, high water levels, and biological imbalances early.

Building a History for Better Service

Every visit is logged. Over time, we build a complete service history — trends, repairs, and performance data that guide smarter maintenance decisions.

Health and Safety Above All

A failing septic system isn't just inconvenient — it's a health risk. Regular maintenance protects your family, your neighbors, and the environment.

Common Questions

Do I really need a maintenance contract if my system seems fine?

Yes. Aerobic septic systems in Texas must be maintained by a licensed professional on a regular schedule — it's not optional. Even systems that appear to be working properly can have hidden issues that only trained technicians can detect. A maintenance contract ensures you stay compliant and catch problems early, before they become expensive disasters.

What happens during a quarterly inspection?

Our technician will test your aerator and control panel, check effluent clarity, inspect water levels, verify the spray distribution system (if applicable), and look for any signs of trouble — failing components, biological imbalances, or physical damage. After the visit, you'll receive a summary report and we'll file the required documentation with TCEQ.

Can I cancel my contract early?

Both plans require a 12-month commitment. After the first year, plans renew month-to-month and you can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. If you're selling your property, the contract can often transfer to the new owner — just give us a call.

What if my system breaks down between scheduled visits?

Core plan members get standard service call scheduling. Pro plan members receive priority scheduling and 24-hour emergency response. Repairs aren't covered by the monthly fee, but Pro members save 15% on all repair work.

Does the contract cover pumping?

No. Pumping is a separate service billed as needed (typically every 3–5 years). Pro plan members receive a 10% discount on pumping. We'll monitor sludge levels during inspections and let you know when it's time to schedule a pump-out.

How do I enroll?

Call us at (936) 258-3080. We'll gather a few details about your system, answer any questions, and schedule your first inspection. You can pay monthly by check, credit card, or automatic bank draft.

Key Considerations When Choosing Your Septic System Maintenance Provider

Not all maintenance companies are equal. Here's what matters when you're choosing who will take care of your system.

Licensed and Insured

TCEQ requires that maintenance providers hold an active license. Confirm the company is properly insured and bonded — you don't want liability exposure if something goes wrong during a service visit.

Local Expertise

Septic systems vary widely based on soil type, water table, and local regulations. A provider familiar with Liberty County's unique conditions will spot issues that an out-of-area contractor might miss.

Response Time

When your alarm goes off on a Saturday night, you need someone who answers the phone. Look for a provider with a proven track record of availability and fast response.

Full-Service Capability

Choose a company that can handle everything — inspections, repairs, pumping, and installations. If your provider only does maintenance, you'll be scrambling for a repair tech when something breaks.

Transparent Pricing

Avoid providers with vague "service plans" and hidden fees. You should know exactly what's included in your monthly cost and what extras (like repairs or pumping) will be billed separately.

Reputation You Can Verify

Check Google reviews. Ask neighbors. A company with hundreds of verified five-star reviews didn't earn them by accident — they earned them by showing up and doing the work right.
